When it comes to planning a destination wedding, few places capture the essence of the English countryside quite like the Southern Highlands. Recently, I had the pleasure of designing the romantic wedding flowers at Ardour, Milton Park for Ainsley and Anthony’s stunning 2023 celebration.

Located in Bowral, just a short 90-minute drive from the hustle and bustle of Sydney, Ardour Milton Park is a venue that feels like a hidden sanctuary. As a floral designer, there is nothing more inspiring than working within a landscape that is already steeped in heritage and natural beauty.

Built in the early 1900s, Milton Park is famous for its heritage-listed gardens and ivy-clad architecture. Every time I drive through the gates, I feel like I’ve been transported to a grand estate in Europe. For Ainsley and Anthony, the goal was to create florals that didn’t compete with this history, but rather complemented its refined, timeless charm.
