By engaging Gathered Floral for wedding floral services or using this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Our Services
Gathered Floral provides bespoke wedding and event floral design services. Services may include:
- Custom floral designs based on an agreed quote and mood board
- Consultations (video, phone, or email as required)
- Ongoing communication leading up to your event
Final designs are guided by your brief but allow for creative interpretation and seasonal availability.
2. Quotes, Bookings & Payments
- All quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.
- Your event date is not secured until a non-refundable deposit of 10% is received.
- Full payment must be made no later than 4 weeks prior to the event date.
- If payment is not received in full one week prior to the event, Gathered Floral reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain all funds paid.
Prices may change if selections, quantities, availability, or event details change.
3. Changes & Revisions
- Quotes include up to three revisions.
- Additional revisions incur a fee per change.
- No changes can be made within one month of the event date.
4. Floral Availability & Substitutions
Flowers are natural, seasonal products and availability cannot be guaranteed.
If specific flowers, foliage, or colours are unavailable, Gathered Floral will substitute with the closest suitable alternative while maintaining the overall style and quality.
Variations in colour, size, and shape are natural and accepted as part of working with fresh flowers.
5. Exclusivity of Supply
By booking Gathered Floral, you agree that we are the sole supplier of floral arrangements for your event unless agreed in writing prior to booking.
If another florist or DIY florals are used without prior agreement, Gathered Floral reserves the right to cancel the booking with no refund.
6. Delivery, Setup & Collection
Delivery, setup, and collection fees are outlined in your quote.
Additional surcharges may apply for:
- Public holidays
- Early bump-out or late-night collection
- Venue restrictions or access requirements
7. Hire Items
- Hire items must be returned within 2 days of the event unless collection has been arranged.
- The client is responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items, charged at replacement cost.
- Credit card details may be held as security for hired items.
8. Cancellations
By the Client:
- All Deposit payments made are non-refundable.
- Cancellations within 14 days of the event require full payment of quoted fees.
By the Florist:
- Any unearned fees will be refunded.
9. Force Majeure
Gathered Floral is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or supplier failures.
If an event is postponed due to a force majeure event, pricing may change.
10. Photography & Promotion
Gathered Floral may photograph floral designs and use images for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes.
No compensation is payable for this use.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gathered Floral’s liability is limited to the total fees paid for the services.
We are not responsible for deterioration of flowers once delivered due to weather, lack of water, or venue conditions.
12. Disputes
Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through mediation in New South Wales, Australia.
If unresolved, disputes will be handled by the courts of New South Wales.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
14. Updates to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
