A wedding at Springfield House is a study in quiet elegance – where the white architecture meets the softness of the surrounding gardens. Tucked away in Dural, in Sydney’s lush northwest, the estate feels like a private retreat; serene, refined, and an idyllic setting for couples drawn to both garden romance and polished interiors. It is within this setting that Springfield House wedding flowers can truly come to life, layered with intention and a sense of effortless abundance.
For Kerryn and Luke’s celebration, I designed Springfield House wedding flowers in a lush, garden-inspired style that felt both elevated and organic. The colour palette unfolded in soft, sun-warmed tones of white, blush, and peach – a gentle interplay of creamy peach and ivory garden roses, delicate ranunculus and sweet pea, and airy white delphinium. Apricot stock brought elegant height, while soft pink wax flower, pieris, and blush statice added fine, intricate detail. Flowering may foliage threaded throughout, its tiny white blossoms lending a lightness that softened every arrangement.
The ceremony took place in the ceremony courtyard, centred around the venue’s iconic white structure. To honour its classical columns, two generous floral towers were designed to rise organically from the ground, framing the couple with a sense of natural movement. At the arbour, a statement arrangement anchored the space, ensuring that every view from the aisle was drawn to a scene immersed in seasonal blooms. The result was a ceremony setting that felt both expansive and intimate – the couple held gently within a garden of florals.
Inside the reception, the aesthetic deepened into something more refined while still echoing the garden-inspired vision. Lush arrangements were styled in elevated gold urns, allowing flowering may and delphinium to reach upwards, creating height and quiet drama without interrupting the rhythm of conversation across the tables.
To carry the story seamlessly from ceremony to reception, the ceremony statement floral pieces were thoughtfully repurposed to the bridal table. Here, the soft garden roses and delicate textural elements continued to take centre stage, ensuring the Springfield House wedding flowers remained a defining feature throughout the celebration – cohesive, abundant, and quietly unforgettable.
