How much do wedding flowers cost in Sydney?

I've been a wedding florist for 10 years and here is where I see the state of play in 2025. Prices dramatically increased through COVID due to the increased freight costs and never returned to pre-COVID prices. Add to that the cost of living crisis that eventuated due to COVID, there now exists an economy where luxury items, and I would say that wedding flowers fall into this category, might now seem very expensive. But let me assure you, that florists aren't living it large. Everything has increased for the industry - from raw product, sundries, packaging and even fuel to deliver and install at the wedding.

I have put together a price guide which I hope you will find useful:

Expect to spend from $3,600 to $4,000:

• Bridal bouquet

• Bridesmaid bouquets x 3

• Buttonholes x 4

• Ceremony feature eg a corner arch plus ground aisle florals x 2

• Bud vase florals & vase hire x 20

• Reset of ceremony florals to the reception for repurposing

• Delivery and Installation - Sydney metro

• Bump out (or pack down) is additional (if required)

• This would suit 80 guests.

Expect to spend from $4,600 to $5,000:

• Bridal bouquet

• Bridesmaid bouquets x 3

• Buttonholes x 4

• Ceremony feature eg a corner & one side leg arch OR plinths & urns x 2 plus ground aisle florals x 2

• Bud vase florals & vase hire x 30

• Reset of ceremony florals to the reception for repurposing​​

• Delivery and Installation - Sydney metro

• Bump out (or pack down) is additional (if required)

• The would suit 100 guests.

Expect to spend $6,900:

• Bridal bouquet

• Bridesmaid bouquets x 3

• Buttonholes x 4

• Ceremony feature eg floral towers x 2 OR a deconstructed ground nest plus ground aisle florals x 2 plus rose petals in cones x 25

• Lush bowl arrangements and bowl hire x 12 OR a lush tablescape of bud vase florals & vase hire.

• Tablescape of candleholders & candles & candleholder hire

• Reset of ceremony florals to the reception for repurposing​

• Delivery and Installation - Sydney metro

• Bump out (or pack down)

• The would suit 120 guests.

My style is garden design featuring natural gardenscapes created with seasonal produce, bouncy roses and delicate textures. The above price ranges would not apply to all rose designs with or without premium imported orchids.
